Ascent Trip Report

This was my 3rd Catskill high peak of the day. Was much more difficult climb than I expected. I forgot my water and found no water on the ascent. I had climbed Graham Mountain and Balsam Lake mountain earlier. I wish I had gone "the other way" and climbed Southwest Hunter instead of Rusk, had I done that I believe I would have climbed Rusk easily on the next day. Camped at John Robb lean to on trail to hunter after completing the Rusk bushwhack. Descent was through thick brush and pines. Gentle descent. ran into a bear at 20 yards 2x. legs were killing when I hit the hunter trail. Was done when I got to the lean to.
