Ascent Trip Report

All previous directions were perfectly adequate. I, like Ben Lostracco, will only attempt to update some of the details of the highpoints in recent years.
This was beautiful. At the end of the cul-de-sac, indeed, there is a trail that goes up a hill to the highpoint. There's a bench up there, and a couple of spiritual signs. There is also a small trail system that goes down the other side of the highpoint into the forest. I didn't go on it too much, but I did see at least one other bench down there.
AREA 3: This was quite stressful. Something not mentioned in all other reports is that Shenanigans Farms appears to be a fully functioning girls' riding academy - it even comes up as a business when you type it in to Google. I would definitely call ahead before showing up to this one. No negative incidents occurred, but I certainly felt very out of place. Other than that, the only thing of note was that when pulling up the driveway, heed the signs to go slow on the drive. That is a rough driveway, let me tell you.
AREA 2: Also drove up to the bump in the road, and just before what appeared to be the high point was what appeared to be barbed wire that had fallen down and not been touched since the 1970s. You can just step over this, and walk an extra 10 yards and you should be there.
AREA 1: This was the hardest one to determine the highpoint. It appeared to be on top of a near plateau, and as a result I just walked around with the compass app on my phone until it said 1230 feet. Beware, although physically easy to achieve, there are No Trespassing signs, this is a prime hunting area, and you have to park directly on a busy road - at least by dirt road standards. In spite of all the warnings I give, this was enjoyable to do for my first highpoint except a drive up Pike's Peak. I certainly intend on doing Mount Christie and Genesee County next.
