0.0 From OR Highway 31 in Paisley Turn West onto Mill Street. 1.0 Turn Right onto FR 3315. Pavement ends. 6.2 Bear Left to stay on FR 3315, passing FR 3360 on your right. 8.5 Continue Straight. 9.3 Turn Right to stay on FR 3315. 10.6 Bear Left to stay on FR 3315, passing FR 133 on your right. 11.9 Turn Right onto unmarked FR 332. Soon enter a burned forest on a narrow road. 13.9 I drove off-road squeezing through burned trees to avoid downed timber across the road. I should have stopped here. 14.1 I parked at more downed timber across the road. ATV tracks continued through the forest.
Hiking Route:
From my vehicle I continued west on FR 332 and cross country through open burned forest to the former lookout site. I found benchmarks SLIDELOT and SLIDEMTN near the lookout footings.
