On US Highway 395 about 6 miles north of Lakeview turn east on OR Highway 140.
0.0 At virtual MP 8.1 turn north (left) onto Warner Road. This soon becomes FR 3615.
4.0 Pass Walker Trailhead on your left.
6.3 Pass Mud Creek Forest Camp on your right.
6.9 Pass Road 019 signed “Drake Peak 6” on your right.
10.2 Pass South Fork Crooked Creek Trailhead on your right.
13.0 Continue Straight, passing FR 3720 on your right.
15.0 Bear Right at a Y to stay on FR 3615, passing FR 3624 on your left. Pavement ends.
15.4 Turn Left onto unmarked FR 377.
15.9 Continue Straight.
16.2 Bear Left to pass FR 379 on your right.
17.2 Cross a cattleguard and Continue Straight, passing FR 382 on your right.
17.4 Continue Straight, passing FR 385 on your right. The road deteriorates here.
17.6 Bear Right at a couple of intersections.
18.1 Arrive at the Abert Rim turnaround.
