|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||5440 ft / 1658 m|
Ascent Trip ReportBecca was out of work by 11, so I had found a suitable nearby short objective for our afternoon. Weather was crystal clear and there was very little snow up high, making for dry feet and no need for gaiters. Excellent views of the Snoqualmie area peaks plus all the way to Stuart and Glacier from the summit, though views from the fire lookout were a bit better with Rainier. It was good to snag one more WA top 200 prom for the season!
If you follow our descent track (track more to the SE) from the old lookout site, we were able to follow the trail until you leave the taller trees at 5040’ and re-enter the recovering clear cut. From here just push through not terrible trees and brush to the road. Pics
