Ascent Trip ReportGetting to the Breakneck Ridge highpoint is pretty straightforward. From the trail that leads to Campsite 44 just follow the ridgeline proper. There is a faint path which, at times, is difficult to follow. Once you get to the second bump on the ridge (point 5256) the path will contour around on the south side of the ridge a bit and then drop down into the saddle before the final climb. Following the path will keep you from most of the briars/deadfall and, when in doubt, go south to navigate around any obstacles.
