Ascent of Mittersill Peak on 2019-09-28
|Date:||Saturday, September 28, 2019|

| Location:||USA-New Hampshire|
| Elevation:||3600 ft / 1097 m|
Ascent Trip ReportI approached this peak via the Coppermine trail and old ski trail that leaves it just below the shelter. The old ski trail was quite easy to follow most of the way, the only exception being near the crossing of Coppermine Brook above the falls, where the way was marked with yellow flagging. At around 2900', the path merged with Tucker Brook ski trail and followed it to the summit of Mittersill. This section, known as the "13 turns" was the least enjoyable being quite steep, muddy and dotted with slippery rocks. I didn't find a canister on Mittersill, though I did see some string on a tree at what appeared to be the highest point.
