Ascent Trip ReportI drove up from East Carbon to the top of Bruin Point. The aspens were just starting to turn at higher elevations. Views from the summit were great. A register on the summit looked like it had been recently placed - there were no recorded acsents, so I put my name down on the first page. I walked south from the BM to the likely high point, which is to the Southwest of a few towers in some Limber Pine trees on the ridge.
I descended to the Northeast of Bruin Point, driving down the Dry Fork of Nine Mile Canyon, then up Nine Mile, and Argyle Canyons to HWY 191, and Emma Park Road to HWY 6. It was an enjoyable day driving through Carbon and Duchesne Counties.
