Ascent Trip ReportDespite it being a wet cloudy day (so the summit views were non-existent) - and seeing no more of the resident mountain goats than their plentiful scat - it was an enjoyable hike on a lovely forest trail. I was surprised by how many hikers there were on a rainy late September Friday! Any 2WD car could make the TH with care on a dry day. I rented an AWD small SUV (Hyundai Tucson) due to the wet roads - it did well despite its measly ground clearance of 6.4 inches.
