Ascent Trip Report

Warm-up hike for Hunger Mountain the following day. Big Deer seemed like a good candidate for such a warm-up, and we were right. Nice weather. Didn't see a soul all day. Roughly an hour and a half up, nothing notable on the way. Decent view across the pond with Little Deer in the foreground (which we later decided to also summit). Most memorable part of the hike was the 20ft tall boulder at the summit, which I naturally had to precariously scale. Jac tossed me up a Zero Gravity Green State Lager, and I calmly sipped the foam up on the rock a while, later realizing getting a half-full beer down the rock would be tricky. Figured it out, then was off to Little Deer.
