After Gold Mountain we drove across Holcomb Valley Road to do Arctic Point. On the way we stopped to check out the Van Dusen Cabin and Wilbur's Grave. We drove up 3N43 and parked just before the road gets really gnarly. We were treated with a show by a group of jeepers spotting for the brave soul that made it up that super rough rocky section of road. We then shortly left the road a little early to look for a mine but only found a filled in hole. Then cross country a stretch to intersect the ducked gully route to the summit. Lost the route in the middle several times with many dead falls likely covering it. Found the register on the summit. Our downhill route was much more accurate so use that one if necessary.
