Ascent Trip ReportCutthroat Peak, South Buttress, as rock climb with David Salinger. Possibly around 2002 or 2003 (ACL surgery 2002). Clearly a local guide service set up some fabulous rappels with extentions that made that rappels easier to get started and easier to retrieve ropes without getting them hung up. I was wearing my newer mythos rock shoes (replaced my old La Sportivas). I don't remember the exact date. I did not keep track of all my climbs back then. I wasn't working from any peak lists and my memory was good back then (LOL!). After the climb and before hiking out, I left my rock shoes on the last steep slab before after most of the downclimbing (although my memory was good, ha ha ha...). The next day Dave and I had to hike back up to get my shoes and we missed out on doing another climb we had in mind. My rock shoes were still there. Hurrah.
