Ascent Trip ReportDrove to the last main parking lot and hiked less than 10 minutes to the stone marking the highest point in Hungary.
Behind the fence is a small mound maybe 5 feet higher than the marked high point. I decided it wasn’t worth visiting a Hungarian jailhouse. I did my best, I reached through the fence and touched the mound, I sat on the stone marking the high point, and I jumped as high as I could from the pedestal at the marked high point. Also the mound looks man made.
