|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||10961 ft / 3340 m|
Ascent Trip ReportI didn't check "Bushwhack" in the Route Aspects section because of the minimal brush during the forest portion of the route. Beware of the cattle here -- I couldn't avoid the pies and got some of the stuff thrown up on the side of the 4Runner. Also we couldn't avoid it while walking the road, although happily most of it was dried.
On our descent my left boot caught an unseen sagebrush trunk that stuck out in the use trail I was following, and my right leg attempted to stop the fall but was unable to do so and I faceplanted. In the process that leg was strained enough that we had to call off the remainder of the trip.
