Ascent Trip ReportFrom camp at Four Point Lake, we headed north, crosscountry to avoid backtracking the approach trail. We went over the saddle N of the lake and dropped down to the valley and rejoined the Chewuch trail N of Remmel Creek (~6100'). This took about 2.5 hours. We followed the trail to the junction with 565, stayed right, then took the right trail at the next junction. In meadows below Amphitheater (7200') we took the climber's trail right up into the head of the basin below Amphitheater (8000'), dropped packs and summitted (about 6 hours from Four Point Lake to summit). We took the gully down to Upper Cathedral Lake, arriving around 6:45.
