Ascent Trip ReportFrankly, this is a rubbish highpoint! However, it's pleasant to wander in the Ardennes forest, and you aren't likely to see anyone at all. We parked at the crossroads mentioned by Lee Newton in his TR, and headed towards the border of the Grand Est region and the Hauts de France region. The forest changes a little at the border, and has a ditch and occasional marker stones. We turned left after reaching the end of the initial path, then back right to confirm! GPS had us almost the same height all the time. |
