Ascent Trip ReportClimbed Bentrim Hill, Mount Lillian South, and Tronsen Head in a 13 miles day. It should have been a 9 miles day but I did a sloppy job of planning the drive and drove up USFS 7240 and started from the Tronsen Creek trailhead. Unless you want the extra hiking, I recommend driving up USFS 9716 and 9712 and parking just pass the turn off to the Ken Wilcox Horse Camp. Needless to say, it was a pleasant hike both on and off trail. I took a shortcut through the horse camp on the way over to Tronsen Head that probably didn't save me any time but was good for entertainment. See the attached GPS track.
