Ascent Trip Report

Started my track late but saved us a lot of time
I stead of the FR. We went up the slide just for a view and unfortunately went up to the right of the gully (we wanted the left side). When safe and after i got stung 8 times by ground wasps, did we get to the left side of the gully towards the top. We then got some Good line until we got to the cone when it got thick stuff again. I tried to follow a track off to the pond which was horrible like more than horrible. Two of us went my way and the other two went down back to the climbers camp. But we made it finally to the pond and it was gorgeous. We heard of open woods and this “great line” up to carrigain and well not sure where that was hahh. We made it around blowdowns and up through ledges in the woods and i would call it partially open woods. Wow it was steep! We got to Carrigain around 4 and yay for a trail down ha!
