Ascent Trip Report

Tagged this mountain on our way to Pioneer Basin. From Mosquito Flats took about 2 hours with backpacks to Mono Pass. Then took about 1 hour off trail without packs to the summit of Mt. Starr, 30 minutes back down to the pass. Class 2; can find Class 3 near the summit if you want. Glass Mason Jar register at the top. Nice views back down in to Little Lakes Valley, and over towards Pioneer Basin.
