Ascent Trip Report3200 feet of elevation gain in 2 miles. The unofficial climber's trail requires the use of hands in many places, in order to grab tree roots and rocks to scamper up. At 4900 feet, you enter a lovely meadow. There are a couple of ramps heading up above the meadow where you're walking on a pretty narrow ledge. Some exposure may bother newer scramblers/climbers. This one was tough. |
