Ascent Trip Report

I hiked from the Lower Trailhead, which is a 2-mile round trip up the western rock face with 745 feet of climbing. This is a steep route, but over 600 timber steps make it accessible. Great views all along the top half of the hike. One of the busiest trails I've ever hiked, including lots of families with small children.

If you choose to start at the Upper Trailhead, you save 300 feet of climbing but the hike would be a little longer and you'd miss many of the views.
