Ascent Trip ReportShort cut up the west side of Cannon to camp night 1 next to a creek at 6,200'. Day 2 was socked in until 9am ish. Cannon, McClellan, Enchantment, and Little Annapurna. Camp night 2 at 8,300' 'outside permit zone.' farther obf at 8,550' is better fit views, a plateau, and cell service. Day 3 traverse backside if east Dragontail to resummit Dragontail and new summit of Colchuck; my 50th Bulger! Return to backside of Dragontail then down a abhorrently crowded Aasgard Pass and Colchuck Lake Trail. |
