I agree with Bill Schuler, whose directions got me to the water treatment area. This is an easy county. Though it consists of three different areas, they can all be reached through by taking a leisurely stroll through a friendly woods.

Actually, the hike was easier for me than it was for Schuler. When I got to the water treatment plant, I found a 2-track that went north as the main road bent west toward the plant. I followed this 2 track through the woods, emerging in the open adjacent field. This 2-track continues west along the southern edge of the field, and it goes almost all the way to the 3 contours. I parked at the SW corner of the field just before the road entered the woods again.

From here, I hiked the three contours SW to NE. The first contour, with spot elevation 1489, was about 0.12mi away. Travel in a SW direction before coming to a smaller open grassy spot in the woods, and continue across the grass to some kind of wood shed / hunter’s shelter found on the far side of the grassy field.

From the first contour, continue trending NE to reach the middle contour. Continue NE some more to arrive at the third contour, crossing a 2-track as you approach the 3rd summit area. From contour 3, return to this path SE and into the large field. From here, it is an easy stroll along the edge of the woods SW to your parked car.
