Ascent Trip ReportWe did a point-to-point hike starting from the Cascade/Porter trailhead on Route 73 tagging Cascade and Porter and then hiking the Blueberry Hiking trail ascending up Blueberry Mountain and finishing in Marcy Airfield. After tagging Cascade and Porter, we continued down the very steep path to Blueberry Mountain. This was one of the hardest descents I've done with a lot of blown down and slick rocks on the extremely steep grade. Max had a hard time and needed to be carried in Pat's backpack. Blueberry Mountain was a really neat mountain with views of the High Peaks and a very large boulder on top. We didn't linger and continued down the steep descent to the Marcy Airfield.
