Ascent Trip Report

Took fr-090 up, which was in awesome condition. There is a light trail heading up to the ridge at the end of the road that goes half way up. Once I was on the saddle I tried skirting around to the left to reach the peak this proved much more frustration than anticipated with all the out croppings. Once I reached the saddle to Black Crook I thought I would go around the right side this was a huge waste of time as I ran into a cliff and had to head up and over a huge outcropping before the peak and back down the other side. I found a nice chute to take up to the top that was on the south side. The views were great and the weather couldn't of been better. The way down I took the chute and scambled up and down multiple outcroppings which was a bit easier then the accent. Once to the saddle to the road I thought I would try heading down a dirt field instead of more bushwacking like the accent. It took me down to a dried creek bed that was pleasant at first then became very overgrown but out I popped right to the road. Not sure which route was easier but I was happy I was done. Overall a good adventure, from reading the other trips this route seems like the hardest though.
