Ascent Trip ReportLeft Liberty and climbed down into the valley and back up. Was not that difficult. The summit was somewhat small and could not find the benchmark. Did not spend much time here. We hiked back to the Liberty Springs Tentsite to pack up our hammocks and hiked down the Liberty Springs Trail to 93. Then we walked along the bike path for a few miles to get back to the car parked at the Lafayette Place parking lot. We then went to North Conway and had a lovely time at the White Mountan Hotel. We were sore and enjoyed the hot tub!! Had dinner at Flatbread. Breakfast at the hotel was lovely. Had planned to hike the Wildcats on Wednesday but Tstorms were coming in so we hung around North Conway. |
