Ascent Trip Report

Climbed the west slopes route from Lead King Basin. Did not do the "judicious route finding" which Roach says is needed to keep the difficulty level to Class 3. Finally got to the summit from the north, after some very exposed Class 4 moves. Beautiful morning, showery afternoon. It was a long day, but the tiny summit was satisfying. 14er #30 for me, #27 for Trisha.
