Ascent of Ruth Mountain on 2019-07-14
|Date:||Sunday, July 14, 2019|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||7115 ft / 2168 m|
Ascent Trip ReportTrail crew is doing amazing work both on the road to the trailhead and on the trail. Very maintained trail up to hannegan pass. Afterwards, the gulley up the ridge is either a loose rock or rooty scramble.
Summitted in low visibility conditions but there were no crevasses. Was initially planning to go to Icy but in these conditions decided to turn back. Saw two people bivvying at the summit.
As we were heading down, the weather started to clear up.
