Ascent Trip ReportI made this attempt with Matt and his friend Kellan. We headed up Red Pine Fork pretty early and only caught the rising sun above Upper Red Pine Lake. We ended up playing around on the hard snow, sliding down, and climbing up again. We ended up doing that for a while and not making a summit attempt. We have both climbed this one in July, 1998, so it wasn't like we hadn't been up it before. Overall, a fun day in the mountains as usual... Pictures |
