Ascent Trip Report

After waiting for the trail to be re-opened (after July 31) it was time to nab this peak. I parked at the public park (Fairview Reservoir Park which is part of the subdivision off of West Trailmark Parkway. It is a long flat haul south along the JEFCO boundary until the trail swings west and then finally switchbacks up the mountain to a saddle between peaks. It is a bushwhack to the summit like all the other hogback peaks. The trail is closed each year until July 31st.
