Ascent Trip Report

Barker Pass Rd was closed after the bridge. Rode around Gate and about 3/4 way to the pass. Bushwack/orienteer'd cross two valley fingers a few season creeks and a river fork (north?). Followed bear tracks to the summit. Through Volcanic flow, meadows, rockfall. 1/4 snow coverage. Beat to the twins by 2 other summits 6/06 & 6/27 the day before me! Left my Email address and squaw sticker.
Summit was amazing, climbed the w side of the twins then down and across the saddle to the Eastern Peak. Survey intact.

On a very exhuasted return, I found a note on my bike reminding me that "the road is cloased to motor vehicles until open by the USFS".... Sorry guys, thanks for not towing me and plowing neatly around me. Just enjoying the woods like you...

Also My beer was warm, i downed half and gave the rest to other nature, what a wonderful adventure, thank you very much for seeing my safe return.. I am blessed.

What next?
