Ascent Trip Report

Drove from Genoa area. Stayed overnight at Hotel Joli and ran to the top in the morning. Tried to stand on highest rocks around the outside of the Second Tower, but based on consensus of previous visitors, I felt inclined to go inside to be sure. There is an entrance fee of a few Euros and you can bundle it with a few other museums in San Marino. The tower also houses the armory museum. I walked to the top of the tallest tower, but this is obviously artificial. I searched for underlying rock and noticed that the highest natural rock seemed to be under one of the outdoor stairwells.
