Ascent Trip Report

This was a real quick one. It was a very gradual ascent to the summit, only had to stop a couple of times to catch my breath even though it was pretty hot out. More snakes on this trail and the bugs were much worse than on Azure.

Only took 33 minutes to hit the summit and we went straight up the tower to escape the bugs. There are some nice labeled pictures above the windows to tell you what mountains you're looking at. I always think those are cool. There is also a lovely bench with views to the west.

Headed back down after our quick break. Took 27 minutes to get back to the car.

Easily doable with Azure in a day, about 35 minutes of driving between them (except for the awfully long, horrible dirt road to Azure).
