Ascent Trip ReportAfter Horse Ranch, I bushwhacked south until reaching the road within the National Park, then hiked that road. Where the road exits the National Park it is gated, but did not have a "No Trespassing" sign. There was a sign "Authorized Personnel Only, Apply at Front Desk". I followed that road but there is no front desk, there is a private cabin. No one was there for me to ask permission; as I was within a couple hundred yards of the Taylor Creek Wilderness I proceeded to hike to that destination.
I followed the road back to the main gate and left a note (with my cell phone number) asking the owner to grant permission to cross their property to Laverkin Creek Wilderness.
