Find Thompson Creek Road (paved) heading south off OR Highway 238 at MP 18 just west of Applegate.

12.0 Pavement ends, Bear Left to stay on Thompson Creek Road (FSR 10)
12.5 Turn Left onto FSR 1010 (single lane gravel road)

17.8 Pass Humpy Mountain road #200 (unsigned) on your left (very limited parking here)
18.0 Find narrow parking for two vehicles on your left
The lower south ridge leading up Point 4882 is very brushy, but just below the ridge to the left the route is more open. Look for boot tracks/game trails higher. The summit registry is at Point 5055 with the best views. Higher points may lie north on the summit ridge and you might feel compelled to thrash up to tag them.
