Ascent Trip Report

The approach climbers trail from pyramid lake is well maintained and very easy to follow. Once at the 5900' camp, I'd recommend traversing high rather than low - snow covers the loose rock and nasty wet, slick brush lower down on the traverse section.

I highly recommend camping at the Neve col and catching sunrise on the summit of neve peak. Spectacular!

Glacier is in great shape. No need for a rope or ice axe really. It's super mellow. Just used poles and crampons.

Lots of running water sources strategically spaced apart. We didn't carry any water on the descent as we knew we'd run into a water source every hour or hour and a half
