Ascent Trip ReportSkin/ski of East Face: skinned up from just up the road from the Summit Lake PA. Started with the southern most slope as it looked to have continuous snow to the top but when we arrived there we found more rocks than snow so we skied. The snow had softened a bit and the skiing was good. As we were traversing back to the lot we decided to skin up the next snowfield still on the east Face. We only went about 2/3 up this one as the rocks presented themselves much lower. It was about time to be done anyway as the weather was deteriorating and we could hear thunder in the distance. The ski down was really nice. Very soft but not smushy. We skied back to the end of the snow and walked back to the lot.
