Ascent Trip Report

Started from Mountain Brook Road. Parked at dead end and used unmarked 4 wheeler trail until I hooked up with Yellow Wilkinson Memorial Trail. (parts of both trails went straight up) Took that thru both peaks (Scofield and Scofield North).
Saw 2 deer on way up and same 2 deer on way down. Saw lots of red efts. Multiple nice views along the way...best one is Scofield Ridge Peak. The hike went thru some single and double canopy forest and there was the usual stand of large Tulip trees. On the East side of the ridge, it was hot and clammy...once you got up on ridge and on West side, there was a nice cool breeze...it was almost like two separate micro climates.
