Ascent Trip Report

Sea level to summit! Caught the water taxi from Tofino. Lone Cone Hostel offers the cheapest option we could find, Becca did the research to find this one. Trail has potential to be quite muddy but was dry and pleasant on this day after a long stretch of dry weather. True summit lies off the trail through relatively open forest, trail leads to beautiful overlooks from the top of a cliff, which we visited first. Entire route is old growth and beautiful forest to walk through. Well worth the money for the boat ride! Pics
