Ascent Trip Report

This is by far the easiest of the LVMC 50 Peaks. It is no more than a short walk from trailhead to summit through a pleasant forest with soft pine needles under foot. There is an unmaintained trail that starts from the trailhead which gets fainter as you go up. But just follow the ridge where there are great views. At the summit there is a fantastic view of "Hells Hole". The best way to find the trailhead is to follow the sign near Mount Trumbull trailhead. There are a lot of unpaved roads here but the way up to the trailhead has the most use. I have posted a photo of the road to the trailhead.
