Ascent Trip ReportWe took the snowshoes out for a dayhike and never put them on. The snow stayed hard enough that our big boots did just fine. We originally hope to get up Round Top but with the amount of snow this year we weren’t prepared. Not only did we get too late of a start we didn’t have any crampons. We took down Elephants Back as a consolation prize. Seeing it from HW-88 the next day we were a bit more proud of the peak. |
