Ascent Trip Report

There was room for one car to park at the intersection of 187th and SE Clinton next to the big Travel Trailer. The trail is obvious and well maintained. Heading to the left along the side of the volcanic dome cliff the trail is very steep and it was raining on me. Once it swings around the hill the path bifurcates and there are many use trails and social trails but the peakbagger site on the open street map view shows the main trails pretty accurately. I got off trail on some use trails that were narrow and full of briers but wide enough that you do not get poked too bad. I swung all the way around the hill and looked down on the water tanks and then found the trail that goes right next to the HP. The bushwhack to the actual peak is very short like 35 feet or so off trail. The BM is obvious and there is tape around a tree near it.

AN uneventful and non-scenic little peak but a very steep uprising in the landscape
