Ascent Trip ReportGPS Track and statistics include both Burro Peak and Jacks Peak.
I followed Dennis Poulin's drive description of 2012-02-16 and found it very helpful and accurate, except perhaps the road deteriorates just after the wash crossing rather than just beyond the windmill. The benchmark and likely true summit to the south both have summit registries. The road hike to the summit of Jacks Peak is open. I found a "Fire Control Solar Obs" marker but no registry on the summit. |
