Ascent Trip ReportAfter summiting East Redstone I hiked across the ridge to Redstone. There was only one area where I needed to hike around a rocky block, but the footing was good and there was no exposure. Mileage and time here is for the entire trip sequence, including the detour I made to the end of the east ridge from Redstone as well as Vista Peak.
After summiting Redstone I hiked east along the ridge to Point 1041T. To reach the end of the ridge there was one ten foot section of a narrow ledge, maybe 18 inches wide, where a fall to the south side would result in a significant fall. This was the only area on the entire trip with exposure. |
