Ascent Trip ReportI started in the town of Plati and walked the road up to the top. It's about 18 km round trip. The road was good enough that a truck or other high clearance vehicle would be fine. Even a passenger car might be fine, but not today because of the mud pools after the recent rains. There is a small church on top and a concrete block designating the top, as well as some telecom towers. A very pleasant walk through sheep grazing hilly country. The clouds rolled in when I arrive at the top so the views were not great. |
