Ascent Trip Report

After a straightforward ascent via the Two Trees Trail and use trail off Box Springs Mountain Road, we decided to get creative on the return trip by bushwacking down the west side of the mountain. It started off innocently enough but got progressively thicker and wetter the further we went. A rain shower that lasted about 20 minutes complicated matters but we all survived.

A combination of very lush vegetation and great visibility due to the recent rains made this a memorable hike for us desert dwellers. A great time of the year to hike in the Inland Empire!
