Ascent Trip Report

A very warm Spring day to enjoy this great little hike. Parking fits about 10 cars. Trail starts at a great little bridge over a stream and has an initial steep little climb and then a small gradual accent to the trail register about 0.4 miles in. From the register we climbed through a series of switchbacks along an old logging road until the we reached the summit area roughly 2.5 miles later. A nice steady climb with a good amount of ice still but easy with spikes. The cab was closed but the rest of the tower was open to climb and we were rewarded with great views. It took 1h 20m to climb the 2000' over 3.0 miles and 1 hour to descend. Beautiful day.
