Ascent of Rose Hill on 2019-03-24
|Date:||Sunday, March 24, 2019|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||1506 ft / 459 m|
Ascent Trip ReportA couple of notes on my GPS track:
(1) You don't need to sidehill offtrail. The use trail up Rose Hill isn't visible from the cemetery but connects directly to the Nortonville Trail (I do, incidentally, echo previous reports that recommend stopping by the cemetery.)
(2) I took a longer, looping route back because it seemed silly to drive all the way up to Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve and not see a few more of the sights. Sadly I didn't get to the Visitor's Center until right after it closed.
