Ascent Trip ReportThe plan was for Doug to come out to NY and we would attempt a Great Range Traverse. After the last two days, I feel like I don't have that much in me. I also strongly advised Doug that the weather was looking lousy for today. He did a Presi Traverse yesterday and listened to my suggestion to just stay home. Today, the weather was correct. Low cloud cover and kind of drizzeley. After a pause, I took a late start up Baker, knowing that I didn't care for the views. I drove over to Saranac Lake, and quickly hiked up then down it. Socked in on the summit but a +1 on my winter 6er, putting me at 3.
