The high point should be in the garden. I hiked to Anderson Hill (4+mi) for President Lincoln & Soldiers' Home NMHP, mostly follow a bike trail, but it requires special permission to get in; then hiked to Point Reno (5+mi) for DCHP, the best part being Soapstone Valley.
